Join us monthly for the Wednesday Night Dinners! After a fantastic inaugural season last year, we are back with our monthly dinner program in 2025! We hope this will be a great opportunity for all umpires to socialise with and build the camaraderie amongst new and old friends. Join us on for the first meal night of the year on Wednesday 5 March, where we will also be hosting the first GFUL Town Hall Meeting to provide members with an update and an opportunity to have your voice heard ahead of the 2025 season. This month's meal will be fish and chips with salad and dinner will be served at the conclusion of training. Subsidised pricing is available to GFUL Members with thanks to Conni. We are delighted to be returning to Furphy Hall at Little Creatures again this year, where guests will be treated to a two course meal and GFUL Members will receive a complimentary beverage on arrival. Guests are encouraged to arrive from 6:30pm for a 6:45pm start, and yes - the bar will be open for longer this year. With a semi-formal dress code, you can leave the GFUL polo at home! The GFUL is proud to subsidise the cost of tickets to offer the same pricing from 2023 - $59.00 for adults and $29.00 for kids (up to 12 years). Children attending on a kids meal ticket will receive fish and chips and a chocolate brownie with ice cream. After another long season of Geelong football, the night is finally here. It's time to witness another masterful creation from Jock Productions on Wednesday 4 September after training as the umpire panels for the Senior Mens and U18 Boys Grand Finals in the GFNL, BFNL and GDFNL are announced! The GFUL are rapt to announce that the team at Paella Pan will be cooking for us at the rooms to mark the occasion and round out our Wednesday Night Dinners program for 2024. As always, GFUL Members eat for just $5 with thanks to Conni and there are three delicious meals to choose from: Seafood paella with prawns and three styles of calamari Chicken risotto with leek and lemon Grilled mixed vegetable risotto Bookings are essential, family and friends welcome! Join us to celebrate the end of the 2024 season and celebrate the umpires appointed to the AFL Barwon Junior Grand Finals on Wednesday 28 August at Next Level Skirmish! Tickets are free for GFUL Junior Members, heavily subsidised for other member types, $35.00 for participating non-members and $9.00 for accompanying parents or guests. Light catering will be provided for all at the conclusion of the skirmish session as the coaches read out the grand final appointments. All participants must complete a waiver, which should be completed by a parent or guardian on behalf of minors. The waiver can be completed online.
